AVAILABLE FOR
First, select a date for
your show.
At least one month before
the scheduled show, Submit up to 30 color slides or up to 30 digital images on a
DVD or CD to the commentator.
The commentator will be a
person with a great deal of photographic experience who will critique the images
submitted & will offer helpful suggestions.
The commentator will also select images to receive Awards.
If your club is small, you
may send several images from each member (example: 8 members may each Send 5
images, etc.). Clubs may elect to send
fewer than 30 images but the program will be shorter in length.
That’s all there is to it.
Y our program will be recorded on an audio tape which is yours to keep.
All this for only $8.00.

IMPORTANT – Six weeks should be allowed from the time the images are mailed to
the commentator to the time your club intends to use the commentary.
This will insure that your judge will have at least
two weeks to work on the commentary and will allow plenty of time for mailing.
7.
The day you mail the images
– AT THIS TIME – please send a check in the amount of $8.00 (payable to NECCC)
to cover mailing expense and the cost of the tape.
8.
Images
should be numbered consecutively for the Commentator.
It is
suggested that a TITLE be placed on each image.
9.
Enclose
a list for the Commentator indicating the number, title, and maker’s name
written in full. This
will aid him/her in making out the award certificates.
10.
Your
Commentator will choose a 1st
, 2nd, and 3rd
place winner as well as two or more honorable mentions and will send award
certificates.
URGE YOUR CLUB MEMBERS TO SUBMIT THEIR BEST WORK.
11.
We will use cassettes to
record the commentary.
12.
Please
do not ask for this service in December.
It’s
almost impossible to get a Commentator for December.
Please give the Director plenty of advance notice
when using this service.
13.
While care is taken in the
handling and storage of submitted material, NECCC, Inc. assumes no liability for
the loss of, or damage to, any slides or DVDs. If an image is believed to have
market value or is irreplaceable for any reason, please submit a duplicate.
