REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS Read
Carefully
Each person must register on a separate form, except husband and wife, and/or parent and child. No registration fee required for children under 13. NECCC suggests no children under 5 stay in the dorms.
Persons or groups who desire the same dormitory or North Residence Hall suite (see below) assignments should submit their registrations in the same envelope with an explanatory note. Some of the available dorms do not have elevators.
Explanatory notes for special medical requirements and/or handicap access facilities will be honored on an as-received basis and cannot be assured. For specific handicap-access information on dorms, suites, or classrooms, contact UMass Conference Services at 413-545-0172.
All rooms except the North Residence Halls are twin-bedded, dormitory style, not air-conditioned, and without private bath.
The North Residence Halls (new for 2007) have suite-like, air-conditioned apartments. Each apartment includes 4 single bedrooms with desk and dresser, two full bathrooms and a shared living room/kitchen area. Each hall has a common area/lounge, and coin-op laundry facilities are available.
Linens, two towels (no face cloth), and soap are provided for each occupant in both the dorms and the North Residence Halls. There is no maid service. A small desk-top fan is recommended for the non-air-conditioned dorms. You may bring one or rent one at check-in. There is a $10 refundable key deposit for both dorms and the North Residence Halls. Conference Services suggests payment of the key deposit by check, which will be returned un-cashed when the key is returned.
The Meal Options Are:

(Six meals prepaid): Fri: lunch,
dinner; Sat: brkfst, lunch, dinner; Sun: brkfst.
Note: the 6-meal plan includes Fri. lunch. There will
be no Sun. lunch this year.
2.
(Four meals prepaid): Sat: brkfst, lunch, dinner; Sun: brkfst.
Note: No Sun. lunch this year.

Food Service on a cash basis will be available within the Campus Center
during the weekend.
Individual Registration Fee is $120.00 (Fri/Sat/Sun), or $118 (Sat/Sun) for Early Bird (by June 22, 2007). After June 22, fees are $145 and $143 respectively. Group Rate (see below) is $108.00. See Registration Form for prices of meals and/or lodging, if required. Be sure to register early for meals and lodging.
Conference Services offers two payment plans for individual registration: (1) Full payment, or (2) $25.00 registration deposit plus full payment for housing and/or meals, if selected. Individual registrants whose cancellations are received on or before July 5, 2007 will receive a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee; after July 5, 2007 registrants will receive a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee, one night’s dorm payment and the cost of any meal plan selected. Absolutely no refunds after the Conference begins.
Group Registration Discount. The registration fee for 20 or more people registering as a group will be $108.00 per person (a 10% discount). To be eligible for the discount, all registrations must be received by Conference Services in the same envelope by the June 22, 2007 deadline, and must be prepaid in full, including meals and housing, if selected. No group discounts after June 22. There is no discount on meals or lodging, and group registrations are not eligible for refunds in the event of cancellation.
Conference Services will mail a confirmation for registrations and deposits received.
All those staying in dormitories or the North Residence Halls who have paid in full in advance should go directly to their assigned dorms to pick up their registration packages. Assignments will be mailed about late-June to fully paid conferees. Detailed instructions on parking will be mailed with your confirmation-of-registration. All dorms and apartments must be vacated by 3 p.m. Sunday.
NOTE: ON-SITE REGISTRATION: Friday 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
