Jim Zuckerman will present his unique approach to capturing outstanding nature images. Jim will cover birds in flight photography, using unusual perspectives for wildlife and landscapes, focus stacking, camera settings, dealing with severe cold in winter, and more.

Jim Zuckerman cuts to the chase and provides concrete measures you can take to transform your picture taking. This is a fresh look at how to improve the way you see photographically. It will have a huge impact on your work. Jim illustrates this program with stunning images, in a way that is clear and easy to understand.

Jim Zuckerman left his medical studies in 1970 to pursue his love of photography and turn it into a career. Jim specializes in wildlife, nature, travel photography, and digital effects. Jim was a contributing editor to Photographic Magazine for 40 years, and he is the author of 26 books on photography.

His images, articles, and photo features have been published in scores of books and magazines including Time-Life books, publications of the National Geographic Society, the Economist, Life Magazine, and Omni Magazine.  His work has also been featured on scores of jigsaw puzzles, national ads, calendars, murals, greeting card lines, and more.

Jim leads photo tours all over the world to many destinations in the U.S. as well as exotic locations like Indonesia, Patagonia, Iceland, China, Morocco, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Russia, and Italy.

Ushuaia is the last city at the very bottom of Argentina. It is known as the end of the world and the beginning of everything.

A spectacular iceberg resembling a hand carved ice castle in the Iceberg Graveyard. “Iceberg Graveyard” in Pleneau Bay is home to both large tabular icebergs and older, rolled icebergs. The icebergs get caught in the currents and are ushered into ‘the graveyard’. They sit here for months on end, waiting for the summer sun to release them.

Deadvlei is a white clay pan located near Sossusvlei, inside the Namib-Naukluft Park in Namibia
