Are you interested in feedback on your prints?
NECCC has started two Print Study Groups, one for Monochrome Prints and one for Color Prints. Participants submit prints that are are shipped from one participant to another to be viewed by each member in the group. Each member adds observations and comments to the package and ships the package to the next person in the group.
How It Works
The Study Group is effectively a “circuit” which travels from one member to the next, ultimately arriving back at the Group administrator. Each member comments on the prints entered by other members, adds their own new prints and removes the oldest of their own prints. A member’s section will be provided for a short bio of each member to help the members understand each other’s background and goals. Members are encouraged to also submit a short note with their latest news. When the round has circulated through all of the group members, the portfolio is sent to the commentator, an experienced qualified photographer and printer, who provides their thoughts on each print. The packet then travels back to the Administrative Director (AD) of the Group who sets the schedule for the next round. Each round generally takes about 3 months to reach each member and return to the beginning.
Each group will initially accommodate up to 10 participants. Enrollment will be on a first come first served basis and a waiting list will be started if there are more than 10 individuals interested in a Study Group. As we get another 10 participants interested, we will add on another Administrative Director so we can start a new group.

Submission
- Printed images, 5″ x 7″ to 8½” x 11″, no mounting required.
- There is no fee for this activity.
- Your only costs is postage to mail the round on to the next member
- You will have your prints back once they’ve completed their travels.
